Guidelines for manuscript submission
Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be unpublished and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere in any language and any medium.
GENERAL INFORMATION FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

Manuscript must be written in English.

Publication fee of is required after the manuscript has been accepted.

Manuscript should be no longer than 15 pages.

Attach a cover letter including the names and affiliations of all the authors and full address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address of the corresponding author.

All references must be cited in the main body of the manuscript with the last name of the author and year of publication.Full reference citations must be shown at the end of the text in the section headed “REFERENCES”.All references should be in alphabetical order by first authors’ last names.

The manuscript should be typed in Times Roman, 12 point and single-spaced, and should be formatted for A4 size (210×297mm).

Put 1 line space between paragraphs.

Authors are requested to follow the scientific protocols defined in the International Codes of Botany, Bacteria, and Zoological Nomenclature.

Footnotes/endonotes are not accepted.

The accepted papers will be available in hard copy and online on the PACON web site.
HEADINGS
Headings should be limited to 3 levels if possible.

Main headings (first level, i.e. “ABSTRACT”, “INTRODUCTION”, etc.) in capital letters, bold type, centered on the page.

Subheadings (second level) using upper and lower case, bold type, aligned to the left margin.

Sub-subheadings (third level) in Italic type, aligned to the left margin and are preceded and succeeded by 1 blank line.
EQUATIONS
Equations are to be typed on separate lines and numbered consecutively throughout the text with equation numbers in parentheses, aligned to the right margin. See example below. Any symbols that cannot be typed should be written legibly in black ink.
TABLES
Tables should be included at the appropriate place in the text, within the one-inch margins of the manuscript and with essential footnotes. Tables should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals in order of appearance in the text, followed by the Title, and made using the Microsoft Word table function.
FIGURES
All figures are to be in focus to be viewed clearly. Original half tones, line drawings, and color graphics are allowed. Place Figures at the appropriate place in text as close as possible to the first reference to them. Figure should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals in order of appearance in the text. Figure captions are single-spaced and centered under the Figure, as shown below. Caption titles should not be grouped with the Figures. The next paragraph is separated by a line space between the Figure’s caption and the start of the new paragraph.
REFERENCES
All references should be cited in the text by name and year in parentheses as shown below.
・This fact is consistent with the previous research (Smith et al., 2014).
・The hypothesis was supported by the results found by Rossi and Yamada (2014).
・The effect has been widely studied (Hong et al., 2014; Li et al., 2011; Schmidt and Ivanov 2000).
Reference list should only include reports that have been published or accepted for publication. The list entries should be alphabetized by the last names of the first author of each work as shown below. The names of all authors must be provided, however, usage of “et al.” is allowed in long author lists. Use the standard abbreviation of a journal’s name according to the ISSN List of Title Word Abbreviations.

SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPT
The original manuscript in MSWord (.doc) format is accepted by e-mail to:
File size should be less than 5 MB.
If manuscript includes formulas, please also send us the manuscript in PDF format in addition to that in MSWord format.
Name the files simply (example: P05Smith1 etc.) with no symbols and no spaces. Figures can be sent separately as JPEG files with their Figure number and caption title in the body of your email. In the manuscript where the Figures will be located, type [Fig. 1 goes here].
Neither faxed nor hardcopy manuscripts are not accepted.
